The mkmf.log of the failing gem should contain the reason for the failure. See https://stackoverflow.com/questions/20379274/when-a-gem-fails-where-do-i-find-the-mkmf-log-file how to locate it.

Subject: [sup] Trying to install sup on arch LInux
Hi,
I am trying to install sup on arch but failed. Followed everything mentioned on the git but for some reason it is not installing. I am getting two errors which are 1) failed to build gem native extensions 2) rake failed, exit code 1
Any help would be appreciated.
