This may not be related, but at one point I found that feeding
input characters to sup too quickly caused it to crash. ?I was using
X cut-and-paste as a kind of poor-man's macro facility when I ran
into this. ?If I recall correctly, the string I was cut-and-pasting into
sup was this:
? T=N=a$
which was supposed to tag all messages, mark them as read, and archive
them. ?I think it was crashing when it got to the "$", but it might
have been the "a" that did it. ?I haven't tried this in a while.
