hey, all-

If I were going to start a new mail account from scratch, what is
preferred/most reliable- mbox or maildir? I assume maildir, but just
wanted to check.

In this particular case, probably just getmail from a POP server,
which can drop into either mbox or maildir as appropriate.

Given the recent spate of "From: " problems, Maildir might be a better
choice at this point. At least until I fix it. But sup-sync-back only
supports mbox right now, if you care about actually removing deleted and
spam messages from your mailstore. At least until I fix it.
