Subject: [sup-talk] Can't add source when tracking next
Date: Fri, 4 Sep 2009 09:08:11 +1000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20090903230808.GA2983@114.73.135.126.optusnet.com.au> (raw)

Hi there

I'm tracking next via git and am having trouble adding a mail source.

I've removed any existing ~/.sup directory, then run sup-config and
all is OK until sup-config runs sup-add maildir when I get this
message:

"Ok, trying to run "/Users/richard/src/sup/bin/sup-add
maildir:/Users/richard/mail/gmail/INBOX"...
/Users/richard/src/sup/lib/sup/index.rb:177: undefined method `[]' for
false:FalseClass (NoMethodError)
       from /Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:31:in
`gem_original_require'
       from /Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:31:in `require'
       from /Users/richard/src/sup/lib/sup.rb:277
       from /Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:31:in
`gem_original_require'
       from /Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:31:in `require'
       from /Users/richard/src/sup/bin/sup-add:7

So I'm thinking this might have something to do with my environment
setup on OS X.

I'm running sup from ~/src/sup and am mirroring my gmail mail to
~/mail/gmail via offlineimap - this all seems fine.

I've added: 'export RUBYLIB="~/src/sup/lib" ' to my .bash_profile but
it still fails on the 'require "sup"' line in sup-add

I've checked that I have all the required gem dependencies and that
seems fine too.

And I installed the sup-999 gems.

What could I be missing here?

Any clues appreciated...
