Subject: [sup-talk] Feature request: remove 'no new messages' flashing
Date: Fri, 11 Feb 2011 15:24:57 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1297434100-sup-1912@pruts.nl> (raw)

Hi,

This might be a nitpicking request, but I would like to propose the
removal of the 'No new messages' text flashing on screen after every
poll.

Apart from that this message is not really informational (the unix
philosophy being 'no news is good news'), it also is distracting: when
I'm working with a sup window open on screen, the flashing always seems
to catch my attention and distract me for a second, only to find out
that there is no mail.

Thanks,

Ico
