I think solution will either be: treat deleted like killed for the purposes of inbox-mode (so a thread with at least one deleted message will just never appear in inbox-mode), or have a combined delete-and-kill command. FWIW, I believe Gmail will pull a thread with a deleted message back into the inbox if someone replies. -- William
