That particular crash is a transient thing, I think---there is some race condition with the display logic that occasionally manifests itself as such. I would just retry. I have tentative plans to rewrite a lot of the display stuff without threads once we're Ruby 1.9 ready. I don't know why display is corrupt in rxvt. Do other ncurses apps display ok? -- William
