Has anyone looked into using Hyper Estraier
(http://hyperestraier.sourceforge.net/) as a backend instead of Ferret (if
the problems with Ferret are bad enough to want to switch)?
I've had really good luck with it, it indexes fast and the searches are
super-quick. The ruby bindings for it are great!
Just curious.
