I think this is the best solution, because it is the most understandable for all MUAs out there: the fact that "a maildir is a label" is something pretty specific to gmail-pioneered MUAs, so at least when I backup the [Gmail]/All Mail I know I won't have lost any of them (even if I have lost the labels). Regarding hardlinking, I'm afraid of the cross-platform issues. I know some people here use Mac OSX, is it safe to use hardlinking on this platform ? (Oh and by the way I found a script [1] that basically hardlinks every copy of an email, this could be especially useful for gmail-based installations) [0] https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78755?hl=3Den [1] http://jak-linux.org/projects/hardlink/ -- = Matthieu Rakotojaona --=-1385577127-673712-6836-7308-1-= Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJSljqnAAoJEDp04ZRcPZciZ2UP/jVMuPxeiVdfXa7y9oxvfdqv d4JycrRUFR3PvJTztxwoO+Dy6SPszfRek8GDd2us/FevblTeOramm+2SiwqJWTql nY6PN1+HtQcRGS15kQDvInPBk8TI52yLmNTuSUi2Vsbvmz0Jk+MdN4VVqMlr0aID CqUsrHWE7/fMDoMKVJ/L3vCgorQQp5atKajoOFB4LaCdntb2KhNZEPjnHNUP1wty hD51rucRgP9BvAxYGiMw3g2oeoX80yKqo0kke1EkZ+LU7G2IHC04Mf2HTwcysJ2j nbtyc+4J+yl0YD0cSKdsh4DD7wXCWJi+nYpxs6gsejlFLdSjTPYLQiUcgtTbQY8d 9GXlhdgYh2F2dRxPWX80zHdtrE9TVCOPMKxkd1QdB4mAg58YzoCgH0neA55V8Xv7 UnGZLNV9h6Z+fwXcA2IjV9X7U8/lpJxNiVcRuyJoMAYUXpObqES+99wpJpdgUf4i yY7okEL9g3aXliy0MP/w7OflcnySUqCei2aWJJ14VMZ/9Pxk1vUPxRdfLJS+Q5k8 BTd5aFnMc1gc7X4f50/0qjwwrUv8fPwfLOTXCGeBxzlf5U1BOHwJ7FZsxGE6pXPF Gph6ip8G6xZmYJLtXZUH9YSstVqUCT4Im6TQylhlqQ1Kzf9W3QRU0iARWrW/b4a+ pF+TXYJwpTKIwEVGnFew =1NnU -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-1385577127-673712-6836-7308-1-=-- --===============3535227576986890825== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ Sup-devel mailing list Sup-devel@rubyforge.org http://rubyforge.org/mailman/listinfo/sup-devel --===============3535227576986890825==--
